We recently commissioned research (1) which reveals the British public’s overwhelming support for climate action and local investment in clean energy, highlighting the need for a collaborative approach to achieving the UK's emissions reduction targets and creating a sustainable future for all.

• New research from E.ON reveals that almost half (47%) of school leavers are considering foregoing traditional higher education because they want to work in a green job now
• One in five (19%) school leavers plan to do an apprenticeship or degree apprenticeship and 15% plan to go straight into work
• AI is also playing a role in school leavers’ plans, with almost three-quarters (70%) saying its growth has impacted their choice of career

E.ON’s Energy Infrastructure Solutions team recently abseiled down the iconic Coventry Cathedral, raising over £4,000 for leading mental health charity and E.ON’s  corporate charity partner, Mind.

Since it launched a year ago, npower Business Solutions (nBS) Foundation has been making a positive impact on the communities it supports – including championing diversity and inclusion through projects across the Midlands and Yorkshire.

A new project has been launched to create up to three new community growing spaces within some of the most green-deprived parts of Coventry.

Around one in four working age adults in the UK live with a disability, yet just over half (54%) are currently in employment compared with eight in ten (82%) of non-disabled people.

As part of our commitment to creating a new energy world, we’ve proudly installed a variety of energy efficiency measures for residents in North Yorkshire, ensuring their homes are comfortable both now and in the future.

For the third year in a row, we proudly sponsored and marched in Notts Pride, standing shoulder to shoulder with our LGBTQIA+ colleagues and community. And this year, it felt more powerful than ever.
