MPs and players from grassroots clubs take to a pitch on the River Thames to spotlight how low-carbon technologies have been helping clubs to lower energy bills. 

The Football Association’s (The FA’s) ‘Greener Game’ programme, supported by E.ON Next, has seen clubs save up to 25% on their energy bills allowing them to invest more in their facilities and communities

Responding to the new drive for clean homegrown power in the Government's proposed Seventh Carbon Budget (CB7), Chris Norbury, CEO of E.ON UK, said:

• Next Gust 12m is priced at £1,731 for a typical dual fuel household — a £131 saving against the newly announced energy price cap

• Washing machines, dishwashers and tumble dryers account for 14% of a household’s energy bills² – but using them off peak times can cut the cost of each cycle by more than half (up to 55%)
• New data from E.ON Next shows Brits have saved over £1.5 million³ by using electricity outside of peak times with its Next Smart Saver tariff
