E.ON Next confirms it will pass on savings from VAT cut to customers
Following the Government’s decision to remove VAT from electricity bills from 1 October, E.ON Next has confirmed it will pass on every penny of savings to its customers.
The savings will be automatically applied to electricity bills for customers on fixed and variable tariffs.
A spokesperson for E.ON Next said: “Every step the Government takes to support energy customers is something we welcome. Our electricity customers can expect to see the removal of VAT reflected in their bill from 1 October.”
The savings will be applied automatically, so E.ON Next customers don’t need to do a thing.
