E.ON UK responds to the Judicial Review for Infrastructure
Treasury has announced reforms that will give parliament the authority to approve critical energy schemes and better protect infrastructure projects from judicial review. Chris Norbury, CEO of E.ON UK, said:
“Speeding up the delivery of clean energy infrastructure is essential to strengthening the UK’s energy security and reducing our exposure to volatile global markets. These reforms are a welcome step in helping to unlock that progress. Realising the benefits for households and businesses means turning that progress into reality with lower costs, greater flexibility and giving customers more control through flexible tariffs, solar and batteries. That’s how we build an energy system that is fit for the future and works for everyone.”
