- Government-supported Warm Homes Loan Scheme loans, including 0% APR repayments, are now available to help eligible E.ON customers spread the upfront costs*
- The launch comes as demand for cost saving technologies grows, with heat pump sales up 158%, solar 181% and batteries 320%** compared with the same period last year

Eligible E.ON Next customers can now apply for Government-supported Warm Homes Loan Scheme loans through E.ON‘s partnership with HomeServe Finance, with low and zero interest available on selected terms for eligible households ***.
Helping to lower the financial barrier to solutions that give people greater control over their energy and bills, customers may now be eligible to spread the cost of solar panels, batteries and heat pumps over a longer interest-free term or benefit from lower interest-bearing credit options.
The new options launch as demand for energy-saving technologies continues to grow, with solar sales up 181%, batteries up 320%, and heat pumps up 158%** compared with the same period last year, as E.ON Next customers choose upgrades that increase control over their energy costs for the longer term.
For households considering solar panels and a home battery, a typical system could save them up to £1,213 a year on energy costs. Repayments on these solutions through the Warm Homes Loan Scheme could be £156.58 a month over five years at 0% APR, based on an indicative £9,395 purchase with no deposit*.
Energy Secretary Miatta Fahnbulleh, said: “Energy is an everyday essential that must be affordable for everyone. These government-supported loans will help families across the UK upgrade their homes with no upfront costs to make them warmer and cheaper to run.”
Julian Lennertz, Chief Commercial Officer at E.ON Next, said: “We want to help customers cut their bills by making their homes more energy efficient. As one of the first energy companies to offer access to low and zero-interest Government-supported loans, we’re helping them spread the upfront cost of those improvements.”
Mike Jackson, Chief Executive Officer at HomeServe Finance, said: “For many households, the upfront cost can stand in the way of making low-carbon home improvements. We’re excited to expand our partnership with E.ON Next to help its customers take that next step, with loans through the Warm Homes Loan Scheme, part-funded by the Government. By offering affordable, responsible finance, we’re helping customers spread the cost and invest in their homes with confidence.”
Households in England and Wales can receive additional support towards the cost of installing a heat pump through the Government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme, which offers eligible customers a grant of £7,500, with an additional £1,500 for households using heating oil or LPG until March 2027. E.ON Next also manages the grant process on behalf of customers to make things even simpler.
