E.ON gets behind England Rugby League for the Ashes
E.ON has today announced an exciting new partnership with England Rugby League ahead of the return of the Rugby League Ashes this autumn.
The Rugby League Ashes are a highly anticipated event for Rugby League fans, with a fierce rivalry stretching back to 1908, and now being resumed after a 22-year break.
This year’s series will be contested over three successive Saturdays: Wembley Stadium (25 October), Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium (1 November) and AMT Headingley Stadium in Leeds (8 November).
Under the new partnership with Rugby League Commercial, the energy supplier and sustainable solutions provider will partner Shaun Wane’s England team with the E.ON Next logo being displayed on the playing kit and pitch.
E.ON will also underline its commitment to and support of grassroots sport by offering junior players from Community Rugby League clubs the opportunity to walk out as official mascots for the team at each of the Tests.
