Spring saver: E.ON Next customers could save up to £700 on solar panels and battery installations

E.ON Next customers looking to take greater control of their energy use could save up to £700 on the cost of installing solar panels and a home battery.

E.ON Next is offering £500 off a combined solar panel and battery installation1 for UK households2, with existing E.ON Next customers eligible for an additional £200 discount3, helping households make the switch to cleaner, more independent energy.

Interest in solar technology continues to grow as households look for greater control and peace of mind while wholesale energy markets respond to ongoing volatility.

E.ON Next’s latest data shows sales of solar panels and batteries increased by 182% between February and April, highlighting a sharp rise in demand for home energy solutions. With combined solar panel and battery installation proving the most popular and accounting for 94% of sales in April.

Phil Gilbert, Director of Net Zero Delivery at E.ON Next, said: “We’re seeing more customers look for ways to reduce their reliance on the grid and take control of their energy as market volatility continues. Solar panels and home batteries can offer greater independence and reassurance and when couples with the right tariff opens up flexibility. Battery only:

  • £500 off a home battery installation
  • Existing E.ON Next customers will receive an additional £150 off3 with the code SOLAR150

E.ON Next customers looking to install a home battery and solar panels could benefit from finance options4, spreading payments over one, two or three years 0% APR finance4 and removing the upfront cost barrier to home energy improvements.
