PRICE ALERT: Households can save against the new Energy Price Cap with E.ON Next

Ahead of the new Energy Price Cap coming into effect tomorrow (1 October), E.ON Next has repriced its 12- and 18-months fixed tariffs.

E.ON Next’s wide range of tariffs offer savings against the new Energy Price Cap, which will take effect from 1 October.

Ofgem’s price cap announcement means the annual cost for a typical household, using electricity and gas, on a Standard Variable Tariff (SVT) will be £1,755 (for the period 1 October – 31 December).

Average annual bill comparison:

Next Fixed 12m v89 is now priced at £1,621 annually for a typical household, with a £50 per fuel exit fee – offering savings of £134 against the new price cap for the typical household.

This is currently the cheapest* 12m fixed product of respective terms available from the major suppliers.

Next Fixed 18m v17 is now priced at £1,631 annually for a typical household, with a £50 per fuel exit fee – offering savings of £124 against the new price cap for the typical household.
