E.ON Next - EV

PRICE ALERT: E.ON Next cuts EV tariff day rates while off peak charging saves customers around £500 vs the Price Cap

  • E.ON Next has lowered the price of its Next Drive Smart and Next Drive Fixed EV tariffs.
  • Tariffs will save customers, on average, £509 and £485 respectively against the Energy Price Cap when charging their car off-peak.

E.ON Next has repriced its electric vehicle (EV) tariffs, cutting costs on daytime rates to help EV drivers with at-home chargers save more money on their energy bills.

Next Drive Smart and Next Drive Fixed continue to offer long and cheap off-peak windows for customers to fully charge their EV overnight from as little as £2.60*.

“Our Next Drive tariffs have been designed to give customers greater flexibility, enabling them to charge their electric vehicles at lower‑cost overnight rates while still benefiting from competitive pricing during peak times. It’s about helping lower bills for everyone, making the move to electric not just easier, but smarter and more cost-effective for everyone.”

And customers who choose to sign up to Next Drive Smart or Next Drive Fixed will also experience additional benefits:

  • With no exit fees on the tariff, customers have flexibility if their circumstances change.
  • Customers can get a free 1-year subscription to Zoom EV, an online platform that gives you benefits and discounts on things like public charging, parking, car hire, and much more.
  • The tariff also includes a one-off donation to the Woodland Trust which will contribute towards restoring the UK’s ancient woodland.
