E.ON Next empowers customers with greater tariff control: Pledge now, fix later with no internal exit fees on Next Pledge
- E.ON Next offers flexibility and peace of mind with its Next Pledge tariff offering no internal exit fees, meaning customers can save against the price cap now and fix later if the market stabilises
- Next Pledge customers can save £100 compared to the price cap, based on average annual consumption, doubling its previous offer.
E.ON Next has strengthened its commitment to giving households more control over their energy bills by confirming that customers on its Next Pledge tariff can switch to any E.ON Next fixed deal without paying internal exit fees.
Next Pledge offers customers savings of £100 against the Energy Price Cap based on average annual consumption – double what it previously offered.
At a time when wholesale prices are reacting to global instability, E.ON Next’s approach is designed to provide customers with flexibility and clarity, allowing them to save against the price cap now and choose to fix later if the market stabilises and energy costs become less volatile.
Julian Lennertz, Chief Commercial Officer at E.ON Next, said: “As wholesale energy costs move in response to the conflict in the Middle East, our priority is to give people practical ways to stay in control of their energy bills, even when the wider market is unpredictable.
“Our Next Pledge tariff gives customers an immediate saving below the price cap, and because there are no internal exit fees, they can reassess and move to a fixed deal later if the market stabilises, fixed deals become more attractive or if it feels like the right choice for them.”
E.ON Next Pledge 12m v10 is a 12-month fixed-term product, with prices that automatically adjust each quarter to remain below the price cap. From 1 April, the tariff will be priced at £1,541 for average annual consumption. Customers on the Next Pledge tariff will see the rate alter in line with the new Energy Price Cap.
If a customer chooses to leave E.ON Next, Next Pledge has £25 per fuel exit fees.
